ACOLYTE Ministry
Adults and children assist during our services. Children must be
baptized and entering the 4th grade.
ADULT BIBLE STUDIES
To know Christ we must know Scripture. We have several classes
with a variety of times. We welcome you to become involved.
BETH
MOORE women's BIBLE
STUDY
Video presentation is followed by discussion of homework for
the previous week.
MEN’S BIBLE STUDY
A study of the readings for the next Sunday.
Wednesdays at 6:00 am.
PAGE TURNER’S
This is a study of various scriptures with an opportunity for
informal & open discussion.
WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY
A study of the lessons for the next Sunday.
SUNDAY MORNING Class
An open discussion class offering a buffet of topics.
ALTAR GUILD
This is a group of dedicated men & women who have the privilege
to prepare and maintain the altar and vestments for all services.
Arlington Life SHELTER MINISTRY
Serving the community for 15 years at the Arlington Night Shelter.
They prepare and serve meals and assist in the operation of
the shelter one night per month.
BROTHERHOOD OF ST. ANDREW
Dedicated to bringing men and boys to Christ through prayer,
study and service.
Meets every other Saturday for 7:00 am breakfast.
CAMP CRUCIS
Camp Crucis offers summer camps for the children and young adults
from the Episcopal Dioceses of Dallas and Ft. Worth.
CHILDREN’S EDUCATION
Sunday CHRISTIAN EDUCATION CLASSES:
PreK-12th
Our volunteers provide an exciting curriculum.
EPISCO-PALS
Program for 4th. to 6th. grade youth offering Christian
fun and fellowship through a variety of activities.
JUNIOR EYC
Episcopal Young Christians for 7th-8th graders.
Their objective is to foster Christian fun and
fellowship among junior high school students.
SENIOR EYC
Episcopal Young Christians for 9th-12th graders.
Their objective is to give young people the opportunity
to participate in church activities and grow spiritually
while having a blast.
SMART CHOICES
A curriculum related study based on biblical references
that pertain to real life. This course teaches
4th-6th graders on how to make good choices.
TEAM KIDS
An exciting and fun program for K-3rd graders to
learn scripture
while having a blast earning points to purchase
fun prizes.
DAUGHTERS OF THE KING
Laywomen who pledge to a life-long program of prayer, service,
evangelism and dedication to the spreading in Christ’s
Word and strengthening spiritual life of the parish.
EARLY RISER’S CLUB
An email prayer chain for anyone requesting prayers.

Healing Prayer-Sponsored

LADIES RETREAT
An annual retreat for the women of our church and their friends.
Each retreat offers a weekend get-a-way from their busy lives,
while focusing on spiritual growth, fellowship and a time with
the Lord.
LAMP LIGHTERS
A praise & worship service with Eucharist.
Sundays at 6:00 pm.
LAY READERS & CHALICE BEARERS
Church members trained to administer the chalice at Holy Communion
and to read the scriptures at services.
MEN’S VOLLEYBALL
A group of the parish men having fun and playing volleyball.
MUSIC MINISTRY
9am - Rite II
The musical emphasis is contemporary using guitars and other
popular instruments.
Rehearsal on Wednesday at 7:00 pm. *Nursery provided.
11am - Rite I
Our formal liturgical choir based on traditional Anglican worship.
Rehearsal on Thursdays at 7:30 pm. *Nursery provided
NEWCOMER’S MINISTRY “New
Friends Fellowship”
Welcomes visitors and new members at each Sunday service. They
host two Welcome Dinners a year. Volunteers are also in charge
of getting the coffee prepared before the 10:00am Sunday School
hour.
NURSERY MINISTRY
Child Care for infants and toddlers through four years of age.
Providing a nurturing environment while reading bible stories
and listening to Christian music.
Nursery schedule varies during the week. Call the church office
for dates and times.
ORDER OF ST. LUKE THE PHYSICIAN
“OSL”
Promotes Christian healing into the life of the church through
prayer, Word, Sacrament and study. Healing is an ongoing, lifelong
process of growing toward the wholesomeness that God desires
for all creation.

Parenting class based on the Systematic Training for Effective
Parenting (S.T.E.P.) Curriculum.

PRAYER GROUP
A prayer group for women.
SENIOR’S MINISTRY “New Horizon”
Men and women age 50+ meeting once a month and having one activity
a month. See Sunday’s bulletin for details.
STEPHEN MINISTRY
A one to one support group grounded in Jesus’ command to
love one another.
StP2 Sisterhood
The women of the parish meet once a month for fun, food and fellowship
at various locations. Watch the Sunday bulletin for details.
USHER’S MINISTRY
Welcoming all worshippers at the door of St. Peter & St.
Paul and assisting during the 8:00, 9:00 & 11:00 am services.
They also aid in the seating of our congregation and in managing
the communion procession.
VACATION CHURCH SCHOOL “VCS”
Vacation Church School is a program that teaches children life
changing lessons from God’s word through Bible stories
and games.
VESTRY
Twelve parishioners elected for a three year term to govern our
church.
WATER TO WINE SINGLES GROUP
Singles group that meets once a month. See weekly bulletin for
updates.
WILLING HANDS GUILD
Ladies that meet and they do embroidery, needlework, quilting,
crocheting and sewing. They work on projects for the church, such
as banners or altar linens.
WOMEN’S SHELTER
An outreach ministry that provides services for women and children
of domestic violence and abuse. They collect clothing, toys, and
other personal items to take to their outreach store.
YOGA
A beginners class that uses props to facilitate movement into the
postures with an emphasis on relaxation. |
