The Fall session of Family Night begins on Wednesday, September 8th and continues each Wednesday evening through November 17th. The evening begins with a dinner at 6:15 PM followed by class at 7:00 PM.  The class offerings are:

 

Beth Moore - The Inheritance - Learn what it means to really live this life in the midst of trials and great hardship and find beauty in our relationship as children of God and co-heirs with Christ.  Indeed we have a beautiful inheritance (Psalm 16).   Course materials are a $5.00 "Heiress Notepad" and a listening guide.  Offered by Lynn Stavinoha.

 

Majoring In Men - Communications, Sex, and Money - Overcoming these three common challenges in a relationship.  Course materials are a paperback text book and workbook for a cost of approximately $18.00.  Offered by Michael Shields

 

The Alpha Course - This is a practical introduction to the Christian faith which addresses foundational questions while providing participants with an opportunity to explore the meaning of life.  Manual provided . Offered by Pam and Phil Rottman

 

Spiritual Gifts - Discovery your style of worship and spiritual gifts.  A workbook is required.  Offered by Dn Lana

 

Healthy Gourmet - Learning the art of preparing easy and healthy gourmet recipes.  Offered by Donna Sloan

MEMORIAL BRICKS

CELEBRATE  A SPECIAL EVENT or REMEMBER A SPECIAL FAMILY MEMBER OR FRIEND with an engraved brick in the St. Peter & St. Paul Memorial Garden. Bricks can be up to three lines with up to 16 characters/spaces per line.

Cost per brick: $50.00. Your order form and payment must be received by October 27, 2010 for inclusion in our initial installation in January of 2011.

Forms are available in the Narthex following Sunday services, and will be available in the office on weekdays. Sample bricks are available upon request. Contact Mimi Howell: 817-303-9639.

Discovering God’s Gifts,  Vision for your Life: You and Your Spiritual Gifts

The “Spiritual Gifts” class will again be offered during the Wednesday Family Night offering of classes.  If you plan to attend please let me know so I’ll be sure to have enough Participant Manuals available.  There will be a slight cost for the materials, but if you are unable to pay don’t worry about it, it will be sponsored for you.

Eat, Pray and Sew

Prayers and Squares is back for Fall.  Please join us Saturday, Sept 18th in room 103, between 10:00 and noon.  We will gather to cut fabric, make kits, and maybe even sew a bit.  Sewing expertise is NOT required! We will show you what you need to know.  All supplies will be here for your use, including sewing machines.Please bring a snack to share. Call Celia (817-496-6747) if you have questions.
